JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Center for Fitness and Wellness (CFW) at Penn State Harrisburg, which is part of the School of Behavioral Sciences and Education, is hiring part-time student workers to assist with a fitness and wellness program for students in the Career Studies program.
Job Duties
- Leading or assisting with a one-hour exercise session each week (for a total of 15 sessions) over the semester.
- Setting up equipment for exercise sessions.
- Leading exercise-based games and strength training routines.
- Contribute to fostering a positive, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
- Completing necessary trainings.
- Assisting with data collection and organization, as applicable.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Penn State Harrisburg Student
- Experience with fitness and exercise
- Preference will be given to students whose major is in a health-related field.
- Willingness to lead supervised exercise sessions adapted for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
